For the sixth consecutive year, the lure of the marlin has reeled in Snell Real Estate as exclusive sponsor of the 27th Annual Bisbee's Black & Blue Fishing Tournament. Please join Snell Real Estate in celebrating the World's Richest Fishing Tournament, October 23-27 at the marina/Puerto Paraiso (mall) in Cabo San Lucas. This year upwards of 200 boats are expected to register, resulting in a jackpot of more than $5 million.

2007 marks the sixth consecutive year that Snell Real Estate has sponsored the tournament.

  • It is the World's Richest fishing tournament.
  • An estimated 200 boats will be in this year's tournament.
  • This year's Bisbee starts on October 23rd and ends on Friday, October 27th.
  • The 2006 grand prize winner was Bad Company (#155) with earnings of $3,902,997.50
  • The 2005 grand prize winner was Pez Espada (#083), with earnings of $1,348,440.00
  • The 2004 grand prize winner, Reel Pain II, won $1,126,510.00.
  • The 2003 winner, Que Sera, won $1,165,230.00.
  • The total possibly entry fee option for the tournament is $63,000.
  • The Bisbee Black & Blue Marlin Tournament began in 1982.
  • The largest fish ever landed and weighed during a Bisbee Tournament was 993 lbs caught by Team Picante in 1994.



Founder and President of Snell Real Estate, Chris Snell will be competing in the Bisbee's Black & Blue tournament this year aboard the 68 ft. tournament-style fishing yacht, the Pegasus. Bisbee-winning captain, Poncho Aripez Navarro. Poncho won the 1985 Bisbee.
